Coonawarra VARIETY -
90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc SINGLE VINEYARD - Ambriel's Gift Vineyard
ALCOHOL-
13.5%Alc/Vol RESIDUAL SUGAR - 0.6 grams CELLARING - up to 2025
CLOSURE - Screwcap HARVEST - April 2008
Ambriel is the angel of
communication who guides us to truth and clarity.
The vineyard's yield has always been very low - usually two tonnes or
less.
From this small crop we get intense flavoured grapes, because the
vine is working to develop the flavour in a smaller number of bunches.
18 months in French & American barrels have developed a rich, chocolaty
Cabernet full of deep mulberries & blackberries, finishing with a long
blackcurrants & cream palate. the 5 years we have rested it for have let
these flavours develop.
If you are ordering less than 1 dozen of this
wine, please add this $15 freight charge to your order.

Ezra is the angel who encourages writers, and helps people
open doors to their ability and self expression. Perfumed
white pepper and violets on the nose, with big, long
blackcurrant sweet flavours. Very silky tannins..

A new vintage, and this wine is massive for its
price. Hold the bottle up to the light to see how dense it
is if you don't believe me.
Intense
blackberry and mocha neatly balanced with the vanilla from
the French oak barrels. It finishes with an extremely long
palate of dried mulberries and cigar box. Like all Koonara
reds, this wine has a balanced sweetness to the finish, but
has been fermented dry with no residual sugar, showing just
how good the quality of the fruit was. The dense fruit and
the soft tannins will allow this wine to age well until 2024.

Like the Cabernet, the 2006
Shiraz is sweet, yet with no fermentable sugar left, showing
the balance in the vines. Near perfect Acid & Ph in the
vineyard has created great varietal structure typical of
premium cool climate shiraz. This Shiraz displays hints of
pepper & cloves amongst the dense blackcurrants and smoked
dark chocolate.

finish - a fantastic start to our first sparkling! HURRY

Named after our 2 beautiful daughters (Lucy

all about; Luscious white peach, lime, honey, musk &
lychees. This wine is a complex, juicy little number which
will become more complex with age, up to 2015.

REGION - 100% Coonawarra VARIETY - Cabernet Sauvignon ALCOHOL - 13.2% Alc/Vol RESIDUAL SUGAR - 1.2 gms CLOSURE - Screwcap CELLARING - now to 5 years HARVEST - March 2007
In true Coonawarra style, this Cabernet has blackberry with
chocmint slice characteristics, perfect for char grilled
steak, schnitzel, or lamb back straps.
2007 was a year which saw well over 50% of Coonawarra
devastated by October frosts early in the growing season.
Like a phoenix from the flame, the grapes which survived
being affected came through with the rest of the season
being almost perfect.
REGION - 100% Coonawarra VARIETY - Cabernet Sauvignon ALCOHOL - 13.2% Alc/Vol RESIDUAL SUGAR - 1.2 gms CLOSURE - Screwcap CELLARING - now to 5 years HARVEST - March 2007
Very
elegant balance of rich cool climate Shiraz and oak.
Blackberry and liquorice notes.
Incredible complexity for a wine at this price point. Aged
for 12 months in a 100% oak barrels. No expense has been
spared to create a wine with blistering value for money. The
quality of the oak used can be seen in the very smooth
subtle vanilla notes on the palate backing up the very dense
fruit as seen by the colour in the glass. The lack of dusty
notes shows that no oak chips were used in this wine.

finishing their 2010's, Coonawarra cool Cabernets are just
coming together. At just 2 tonnes per acre in 2010, it was a

glass. Blueberries (showing age-ability) underly some chary
mulberries, spice and earthy liquorice with hints of mint. A
